    Love this grater!

Bought this to replace an ancient box grater. I’ve been having lots of salad with grated carrot which takes ages to grate. Saw this (and was pleasantly surprised to find out that after adding it to my basket at £26.99, when I went to the checkout it had been reduced to £22.94. It arrived this morning and after assembling it (which is super simple - the clear plastic top slides sideways into the groove on the base and clicks into place, the chosen drum cylinder pushes sideways into the top, through the hole at the end and the handle attaches to the end and again clicks into place). The suction adhering it to the kitchen worktop was very strong (place on a non-porous surface and twist the dial on the front of the base clockwise and it literally isn’t moving anywhere! Turn anti-clockwise to release the suction). The only slight downside for me is that I would naturally use my right hand to turn the handle and the left hand to push the food into the grater. This meant that I had to face the grater dial away from me (so you have to twist the dial from behind the unit) so the handle was on the right hand side and then you turn the handle away from you to grate the food. To keep the handle on the left hand side you have to turn the handle towards you which feels unnatural. But that’s just personal preference and certainly not a game changer. You start off with pushing the food down with your hand (depending on how long it is) and then when it is level or just below

Great build quality and super effective

Really happy with this. Clips together nicely, feels well made. Has a decent weight to it. Sticks to my kitchen work surface really well. Makes short work of grating and doesn't leave very much ungrated at all. Some graters I've just before leave a big slice due to the gap between to drum and the hopper. My only criticism is that the knob to engage the suction is on the back of the grater for right-handed use. Still you only do this at the beginning and at the end so it's no big deal. I'd definitely recommend this grater.

    Great grater!

Easy to set up, use, clean and pack away. 3 different grater sizes are quick and easy to swap out. Makes short of cheese and veg. Great value and effective.

    Wouldn't be without one

This is my second one of these rotary graters, we were a bit heavy handed with the first and the handle kept coming apart. Don't apply too much pressure and they are fabulous. We eat a lot more grated cheese since buying this style of grater. To be fair we only use the grating blades but it makes the job effortless and so much safer no more grated finger tips. We have used it for cheese and carrots both are great. I set mine up on a granite slab and it grips well. Easy to assemble and disable for washing. My other tip is don't get a white one if using for carrots etc as they stain.
